Just thought I'd send you a note to tell you how wonderful our trip to Disney was. For my wife and I , it was especially gratifying seeing the joy on the faces of our precious grandchildren. That was the primary reason for planning this trip.
Your help in guiding us throughout the process was greatly appreciated and first rate. We could not have done it without your insight and intimate knowledge of Disney.
Although it was challenging and at times exhausting for two 63 year old grandparents to keep up and to walk 10 + miles per day ( yes, I was keeping track), it was well worth the experience.
The Villa at the GF was magnificent and the view from the balcony of the Magic Kingdom fireworks was spectacular. Thank you for arranging that. Grownups and kids loved it!!! My granddaughter thought taking a bath in the large tub with a build in TV into the bathroom mirror was a special treat for a princess. The BBB was a magical experience for her as well.
We ran into a few inconveniences, though minor. For example, our grandson Jake although 4 , is short and did not meet height requirements on some of the rides we booked for Fast pass. ( BTW, Fast Past is an excellent idea by Disney)
The 8:30 PM Hoop Di Doo review was a great show, but Jake feel asleep after 30 minutes. Leaving the grounds was a bit of a challenge. The boat trip was an excellent idea but by the time we got to the Magic Kingdom , they were letting out after fireworks show and the line for the monorail was almost 30 minutes long. Tired, but we survived.
The rides, shows, characters, GF accommodations, swimming pools and everything about the trip was "Magical" as you said it would.
The Disney experience app was extremely helpful throughout the process.
Perhaps you can provide me with some final help in the use of the photo pass. What is the best way to select, assemble and print out the pictures? Do we do it or is there a Disney connection that provides assistance ?
Finally, we have another granddaughter who will be celebrating her first birthday next month. Perhaps when she turns 4 and providing her grandparents are still in reasonable shape at 67 yrs. old, we would love for her to experience the same magical experience you planned for her cousins.
